Aberfeldy

The distillery sits on the site of a former brewery and was founded in 1896. The visitor centre which tells the story of the Dewar brothers is first rate and was Highly Commended for visitor attraction of the year at the 2026 Icon of Whisky Awards. 

Balblair

This distilery is one of only four scottish distilleries founded in the 1700's. The distillery is located in Edderton, a place reputed to have the cleanest air in Scotland. Balblair is one of the most attractive distilleries, and produce a range of full bodied, nutty, waxy whisky.

Dalmore

Founded by Sir Alexander Matheson in 1839, Dalmore have been making whisky on the shores of the Cromarty Firth ever since. Dalmore has earned extensive accolades, including Gold at the World Whisky Awards 2025 for its 12 year old.

Dalwhinnie

One of the most iconic distilleries in Scotland, Dalwhinnie was founded in 1898 and is the highest, coldest distillery in Scotland at a height of 1164 ft, with an average annual temperature of 6° C. The distillery holds many accolades for its iconic signature honeyed Highland profile.

Glenmorangie

Founded in 1843 Glenmorangie produce the worlds 4th best selling whisky and No.1 best seller in Scotland. It is one of the world's most highly awarded Highland single malt Scotch Whiskies regularly earning top honours for its very delectable light, floral , citric style whisky.

Glen Ord

Part of a cluster of ten distilleries that lie to the west and north of Inverness, the distillery was founded in 1838. Visitor centre refurbished and expanded in 2022, winning World's Leading Whisky Distillery Tour in 2024 and 2025. The whisky produced is described as sweet, heathery with distinct waxiness.

Glenturret

Founded in 1763, Glenturret is the oldest working distillery in Scotland. In 2022 the distillery became a culinary destination with an on site restaurant that was awarded a Michelin Star. Major accolades include being named the Scotch Whisky Producer of the Year in 2023. Glenturret whiskies have been known to offer note of toffee and green apple.

Tomatin

During the 1970's Tomatin was the largest malt distillery in Scotland. The distillery was founded in 1897 and at one point in time was home to 23 stills. Until 2012 the distillery produced mainly for blending but now focus on single malts. Tomatin have won many awards most notably winning the IWSC Trophy for No Age Statement Single Malt.
